Ingredients
4 cups almonds
1 bulb garlic
1 Tbspn ground coriander
1 1/2 tbspn cumin
Juice of two lemons
1 tspn honey
Culture starter
Vegetable starter
Directions
- Rinse and soak the almonds over night
- Prepare culture starter in 1 cup of warm water, one sachet of vegetable starter and honey
- Drain and rinse nuts after soaking
- Add to food processor with other ingredients
- Blend adding enough filtered water to make a stiff puree
- Place into a glass jar and pour over the prepared culture starter
- Wrap in a towel and let ferment for 18-24 hours
SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO EAT
- Add to flaxseed or other crackers to make a quick wholesome protein snack
- Add to cheese platter
- Add to salsa and crackers
- Top with avocado and put on crackers with coriander and salt for a double protein and good fat hit
